Transmission Line Matrix Model

questions

Q: Could you recommend a site that would provide a good tutorial on the TLM method?

Background:
In an article I wrote at my RF Microwave Blog, I talked about the Transimission Line Matrix Method (TLM) as an alternative time domain solver of maxwell equations. I received an email from Mike S. asking the above question. Check out the answer
Answer: There are many groups working on the TLM method like the Computational Electromagnetics Research Laboratory at the University of Victoria, TLM Research Group at Loughborough University but I would recommend the Numerical Modelling Group at the University of Nottingham because they pioneered the development of TLM in early 70s and extended it to 3D later on. This led to the first commercial code for EM simulation using TLM method which was released by Kimberley Communications Consultants (KCC) Ltd, a spin-off company from Nottingham University, which was later acquired by Flomerics in 1999 and turned the code into a full 3D EM solver MicroStripes. This business was acquired by Computer Simulation Technology – CST in late 2007.
Here is search result for Jonathan L Herring who worked on the modelling of EMC problems using the transmission-line matrix (TLM) technique at the University of Nottingham.
